What is the Company Domain Lookup API?
Find a company's official domain from its name, with confidence, LinkedIn and industry details. $0.035 per completed lookup, including no-match results.
Company Domain Lookup API is available on the JoJ API marketplace. Subscribe with a single JoJ API key, call it through one gateway, and pay from one wallet — no separate account or contract with the provider.

Find a company's official domain from its name. Send a JSON object containing only company_name, from 1 to 500 characters. A completed lookup returns HTTP 200 with success: true, including when no match is found. A no-match result has data.domain: null and confidence: 0. Every completed lookup costs $0.035, including no-match results and repeated saved results. Invalid input, authentication, rate-limit, provider and server errors are free. Saved results are reused until manually updated; repeating a request does not force a new search. Limits per buyer: 5 uncached requests and 15 saved-result requests per minute, with up to 2 simultaneous AI searches. Confidence is an estimate, not a guarantee; is_live reflects the saved search assessment. Additional input fields and batch requests are not supported. Response examples are illustrative.
Frequently asked questions about Company Domain Lookup API
When is a lookup billable?
Every completed lookup costs $0.035, whether a domain is found or no match is found. Repeated completed requests are charged again, including found and no-match responses served from saved results. Invalid input, authentication failures, rate-limit rejections, server errors, provider failures and timeouts are free.
What happens when no domain is found?
A completed search with no match returns HTTP 200 with success: true, data.domain: null and confidence: 0. It costs $0.035, including when the same no-match result is returned from saved results. This means the lookup did not find a match; it does not prove that the company has no website. Provider failures return a free error instead.
Does a repeated request refresh the result?
No. Found and no-match results are reused until manually updated by the operator. Repeating a company name does not force a new search. Confidence is an estimate, and is_live describes the assessment made during the search rather than a current uptime check.
